This “Run for Gold” event is organized solely by LIM Shyang Guey (SG) as an individual, personal initiative. It is not a formally sanctioned race,competition, or organized group event under any registered entity.

Participation is Voluntary and At Your Own Risk

Any individual who voluntarily chooses to join, accompany, follow, or run alongside any portion of this journey does so entirely at their own risk. No formal registration, fee, or agreement is required, and consequently, no duty of care is assumed by the organizer.

No Liability for Injuries, Loss, or Damages

The organizer shall not be held responsible or liable for any:

Personal injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies (including but not limited to fractures, sprains, dehydration, heatstroke, exhaustion, cardiac events, or death).
Property loss, theft, or damage (including personal belongings, vehicles, or equipment).
Any other liabilities, claims, or damages arising directly or indirectly from participation.

This includes incidents caused by road hazards, traffic accidents, uneven terrain, weather conditions, animal encounters, or the actions of third parties.

Participant Responsibilities

By choosing to participate, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are in good health and physically capable of undertaking the activity. You are strongly advised to consult a physician before participating.
You will obey all traffic laws and exercise caution when running on ornear public roads.
You are responsible for your own safety, including carrying adequatewater, nutrition, first-aid supplies, and any necessary medications.
For early morning or night runs, you must wear appropriate night running gear, including but not limited to headlamps, front-facing lights, rear blinkers or taillights, and reflective clothing or accessories, to ensure you are visible to motorists and other road users.
You are strongly encouraged to have your own medical and accidentinsurance coverage.

No Organizer-Provided Support

The organizer does not provide medical support, marshals, traffic control, or emergency services. Any water stations, pacing, or companionship offered informally are gestures of goodwill and do not create any legal duty or liability.

By voluntarily joining any part of the “Run for Gold” journey, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of thisdisclaimer. If you do not agree, you should not participate.
