At 66, Lim Shyang Guey is turning grief into purpose after losing his wife of 37 years to cancer. Through Run For Gold, he’ll run across 11 states in 90 days, covering 25–35km daily while carrying her photo and “talking” to her every step of the way. A mission to support children battling cancer, and a reminder that age is just a number. He begins on 28 March 2026, and will finish on his 67th birthday with a 78km run around Penang Island.
